IPS e.max Press glass-ceramic (Ivoclar Vivadent)

Veneers at Dr Tony Dental are made from IPS e.max Press – a premium lithium disilicate glass-ceramic system from Ivoclar Vivadent (Liechtenstein). The profession regards it as a "gold standard" for its outstanding flexural strength, combined with translucency and fluorescence that fully match natural enamel.

From 0.3 mm thin – the standard of preservation

Unlike a conventional crown, which requires reducing about 1 mm of tooth structure all around, the e.max Press veneer technique makes ultra-thin veneers from just 0.3 mm. This keeps the intervention to the outer surface of the tooth, protects the pulp and preserves the biological foundation of the natural tooth. The final thickness is set by the dentist based on each person's bite.
