Reinforcing a strategic partnership
The meeting reaffirmed the working relationship between the two sides. Keeping a direct line to the regional leadership lets Dr Tony Dental stay current with the latest technical improvements, keep in step with international clinical standards and refine the quality of the treatment plans written at the practice.
A clinical position: technology does not replace expertise
Invisalign is an advanced clear aligner system from the United States that uses digital planning to set a continuous, minimally invasive path of tooth movement. The clinical position at Dr Tony Dental is nonetheless explicit: Invisalign is a medical appliance, not an automated treatment.
However advanced the digital system, it cannot stand in for the clinician's diagnosis, treatment planning or control of biomechanics. How safe and how complete a case turns out still rests on the expertise of the person operating the appliance.
