Align Technology leadership visits Dr Tony Dental to open the 2026 technology roadmap

In early February 2026, Dr Tony Dental hosted an Align Technology leadership delegation — Takashi Matsumoto and Sandeep — and agreed a 2026 rollout plan covering AI-driven ClinCheck, directly 3D-printed material, Invisalign Smile Architect and Invisalign First.
In early February 2026, Dr Tony Dental hosted an official working visit by a senior leadership delegation from Align Technology, the company behind the Invisalign brand worldwide. The delegation included Takashi Matsumoto, regional director for Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and India, and Sandeep, country director for Vietnam.
The meeting served as a strategic discussion, focused on deepening the clear aligner service and widening the use of the digital ecosystem at Dr Tony Dental, one of Align's key partners in the Ho Chi Minh City market.
Transferring the latest clinical technology
At the meeting, Align Technology and Dr Tony Dental agreed a rollout plan for 2026. The update is intended to help clinicians sharpen biomechanical precision and shorten the time needed to set up a treatment plan. Specifically:
- AI-driven ClinCheck®: a platform with artificial intelligence built in, analysing clinical data quickly so the clinician can gauge how complex each case is and individualise the treatment path with high precision.
- Directly 3D-printed material: the new aligner material allows the force points — buttons and attachments — to be printed as one piece with the tray. The aligner fits more closely, biomechanical force stays steadier, and tooth movement follows a smoother path.
- The Invisalign Smile Architect™ ecosystem: a digital platform for planning across specialties. Orthodontic data and aesthetic restorative data — porcelain veneers, implants — are brought together in a single interface for the first time, so the facial structure can be assessed as a whole.
- Invisalign First: further work on early intervention for children in the mixed dentition years (ages 6–10). The focus is physiological arch expansion, making room for permanent teeth to erupt and catching bite discrepancies early.

During the visit, Takashi Matsumoto commended the practice's international-standard facilities and recognised its clinical capability through the Top 1% APAC Invisalign Provider certification, a senior tier of clinicians across Asia-Pacific. Align committed to keep prioritising the transfer of new technology and to support the practice's clinical team.
The visit reaffirms Dr Tony Dental's direction of deep specialisation: keeping pace with the strictest clinical standards so that treatment outcomes are safe, accurate and durable.
